Wholesale essential oil FAQ
What is the MOQ, and can I get a sample first?
The MOQ is 1 kg / 2.20 lb per oil, and the second wholesale tier starts at 5 kg / 11.02 lb. 10 mL to 5 L evaluation and retail bottles are also available; fills under 1 kg carry a flat US$0.30 per-bottle filling charge. These are natural raw materials, so evaluation samples are chargeable rather than free — ask for the current sample cost and freight in the RFQ.
Are these oils medicines or raw materials?
They are industrial raw materials — volatile oils distilled from plants that appear in traditional formulations. They are not sold as finished medicines and no medical claim is made for them. Customers use them in their own product development and carry the responsibility for any finished-product claim.
How are the plants identified?
Each oil is listed by the traditional and botanical plant name, for example Chuanxiong (Ligusticum chuanxiong) and Angelica dahurica. Where closely related species exist — the two atractylodes entries, Atractylodes and Rhizoma atractylodis — they are listed separately rather than merged.
Can I use these oils on the skin undiluted?
No. Like other volatile oils they should be diluted in a carrier before skin contact, and many in this range are strongly aromatic or irritant. Confirm a safe percentage with your formulator and the oil's SDS.
Which documents come with each oil?
COA, SDS and GC-MS are provided per oil against a confirmed bulk order, with specific marker data arranged where your dossier requires it. Documents support placed orders rather than being sent out free ahead of one.
Can you distil a medicinal plant that is not in the 18 listed?
It may be possible. Send the botanical name, the part used and the quantity, and our partner distillery will confirm availability and terms. Custom distillation carries its own fees and lead times, so we quote on request rather than estimating.
Are the names in pinyin or botanical Latin?
Both are used. Product titles carry the familiar name with the botanical where it helps avoid confusion. Tell us the name you work from and we will match it to the listed plant.
Can these be supplied under a private label?
Yes, neutral stock can be packed with your branding. Private-label work carries its own fees and lead times; give us the oil, bottle and label requirements and we will quote current terms.
Documents are released against a confirmed bulk order. COA, SDS and GC-MS status is given per oil; additional markers or specification data for a product dossier is arranged with the order. These oils are raw materials, not finished medicines.
