What Is an HVAC Scent Diffuser?
Also called an HVAC scent system, HVAC fragrance system or HVAC scent machine.
An HVAC scent diffuser is a cold-air nebulizing machine that atomizes fragrance oil into a dry nano mist and feeds it into the supply duct of a central air-conditioning system. The building’s own fan then does the distribution.
There is no water tank and no heating element. The mist is dry, so it does not condense on filters, coils or duct walls, and it leaves no oily film behind. The machine mounts outside the duct; a feeder tube carries the mist into the airflow, usually downstream of the filter on the air-handler side. Because scent rides on air the building is already moving, one machine can cover an entire floor plate instead of a single room.

Multi-zone buildings: one machine per air handler
For multi-zone buildings, specify one machine per air handler rather than one oversized unit. Separate zones on separate thermostats rarely run at the same time, and a single oversized diffuser cannot follow them independently.

Installation & Positioning
Three rules, and the fittings are in the box.
Mount the unit on or beside the air handler, run the feeder tube into the supply duct downstream of the filter, and interlock the diffuser with the fan so it runs only while air is actually moving. That is the whole install.
The tube sits in the airstream and does not restrict it — there is no damper, no duct cutting, and no measurable effect on static pressure at this scale.
What ships in the box
A600, A2000 and A3000 include, as standard: 1 m HVAC hose, brass HVAC duct connector, atomizer core, key, sealing gasket, 2 × M4 screws, expansion bolt, and the 12 V power adapter. M6000 ships with its HVAC fitting kit included.

Fragrance Oil & Consumption
Neat oil, no water, no dilution.
All four models run on neat fragrance oil. Use oil-based cold-air nebulizing fragrance — ultrasonic water-soluble oils are a different formulation and are not the right match for these machines.
Consumption is set by your schedule and output level, not by the machine alone. As a planning reference, a 1,000 ml bottle on an A2000 at moderate output is commonly budgeted at around 60 days, but the real figure moves with your operating hours. Send us your hours and coverage and we will size bottle life for your project.
When you change fragrance, flush the bottle and atomizer core with alcohol. Do not top up one fragrance with another. Browse hotel fragrance oils for oils formulated for cold-air nebulizing.

Work in cubic metres: floor area × ceiling height. A 500 m² floor at 3.75 m is 1,875 m³ — that is an A2000. If your ceiling is higher, size up. Send us the dimensions and the number of air handlers and we will confirm the model.
No. Scent travels with the airflow, so when the fan stops, distribution stops. Interlock the diffuser with the fan so you are not spending oil into a static duct.
The feeder tube sits in the airstream without restricting it, and the unit mounts outside the duct — no cutting, no damper. At this scale it does not change static pressure. Any duct modification should still be signed off by your HVAC contractor.
A600, A2000 and A3000 ship with Bluetooth 5.0 + WiFi as standard at no extra cost. The M6000 is button and Bluetooth control and does not support WiFi. Bluetooth availability and any option pricing on the M6000: on request.
Yes. The working schedule is stored on the machine, not in the app, so once the hours are set the diffuser follows them on its own — whether your phone loses the connection or the diffuser itself drops off the network. The app is only needed to set or change the schedule, not to keep the machine running.
No. A built-in button cell (coin battery) keeps the settings alive while the mains power is off, so your working hours are not wiped. When power comes back the machine restarts and carries on with the same schedule — no re-programming and no clock reset.
