What is Cold Air Diffuser? (Two-Fluid Principle)

Cold air diffuser is a type of two-fluid aroma diffuser, which is based on the Venturi effect and airflow shear atomization technology. The core technology is to achieve atomization by high-speed mixing of compressed air and fragrance liquid at a special nozzle, without the need for water or heating.
The specific working process is as follows:
  1. Pneumatic Drive: Built-in air pump/compressor generates 0.2-0.5MPa high-pressure airflow with a flow rate exceeding 18m/s.
  2. Negative Pressure Liquid Absorption: High-speed airflow creates a negative pressure zone as it passes through the converging section of the venturi tube, automatically drawing out pure essential oils.
  3. Shear Atomization: Airflow and liquid mix violently at the nozzle outlet; the high-speed airflow shear force tears the essential oils into uniform droplets of 10-50 micrometers (some reaching nanometer scale).
  4. Aerosol Diffusion: The droplets form stable aerosols, which diffuse into the space using their own kinetic energy or an air conditioning system, resulting in a long-lasting fragrance without dripping.
Key advantages: The waterless design preserves the original aroma of essential oils, avoids high-temperature damage to aroma molecules (such as limonene and sapinene), achieves a diffusion efficiency of 92.6%, and covers an area of up to 8000 m³/80K ft².
